Handheld vial cappers are ideal tools for securing aluminum caps on glass/aluminum vials and see wide use in pharmaceutical and microbiology laboratories for testing purposes. They can also be used for small production runs providing an output of approximately 150-250 bottles per hour. The jaws are made out of heat treated steel and provide sufficient hardness to ensure wear resistance for a prolonged period of time. The main body of the vial capper is made of mild steel that is powder coated to prevent corrosion. These vial cappers are meant specifically for standard vial caps having a diameter of 20 mm.

Ø  Forged pliers feature a fitted gripping surface designed to allow removal of the listed sizes of seals. Simply grip pliers around top of seal, squeeze and pry upward to remove.

CRS’s ergonomically curved handle design conforms to your natural hand grip, which greatly improves comfort over blocky metal grips. The body is constructed of tough, light-weight glass filled plastic for strength. The bottom-pull handle design is steadier to hold than top-push handle designs. The head does not wobble. It is easy to hold the tapered jaws of the crimper in a stable position, as the bottom handle is pulled up.

The adjustment knob is conveniently positioned at the head of the crimper, clearly displays + and - symbols along with directional arrows. This simplifies adjusting the intensity of the desired crimp. When the knob touches the crimper body, the crimp setting has been reached. No more “extra squeeze” necessary.
