Description

A rectangular water bath consists of a rectangular stainless-steel container filled with water and fitted with an electric heating system and a temperature control unit. The instrument maintains water at a desired temperature, allowing test tubes, flasks, or beakers to be heated indirectly through the water.

Working Principle

The heating element warms the water in the tank. The thermostat senses the temperature and regulates the heat to maintain the set temperature. Samples placed in the water receive uniform and gentle heating without direct flame.
